Calculating Woman is from a series that has abstract people depicted in real settings. In this case, the woman is actually using a handheld calculator while enjoying a drink and a smoke. The stencil was painted by hand in the screen using a block-out medium. It was then hand printed using the reduction process, where each color has the previous color or colors underneath. This results in an image with vivid colors and a rich impact. This piece adds a great splash of color to a room!
